Blue Circle Srl is a technology company founded in 2025 in Pordenone, Italy, registered as an innovative start-up and focused on the meeting point between technology, agriculture, data, sustainability and certification.
01 Mission
We build management software and a certification system for hydroponics, aquaponics, aeroponics and water-recirculating systems. Our goal is that every facility can collect its own data, organise it and use it both to improve and to be recognised.
02 Vision
We want closed-loop water and nutrient management, process control and batch traceability to become shared criteria: measurable and comparable across companies, supply chains and markets.
03 The problem
Soilless farms have sensors, records and control tools, but the data often stays fragmented and hard to compare. Those who produce well struggle to prove it; buyers struggle to tell the difference. Existing certifications were not designed for these production systems.
04 Our solution
Blue Circle Software collects and organises the operational data of the facility: crops, treatments, readings, batches. Blue Circle Certification assesses defined requirements on the basis of evidence, assigns a score through a transparent methodology and makes the result communicable with a mark, a certificate and a public showcase.
05 Our approach
Public requirements and prices, a published fee formula, no unverifiable promises. We work with technology, institutional and university partners, and invest in applied research to improve certification processes, software and the spread of sustainable farming practices.
